Set of three original Belgian posters extolling the importance of seafood, by artist Ray Muss (circa late 1940s - early 1950s). Commissioned by the Ministere de l'Agriculture et Administration de la Mer, and printed by L.F. de Vos & Cie.
We are told that if we “Mangez du Poisson de Mer!” it will preserve “la Sante des enfants” (children’s health), “Resistance du manuel” (manual strength), and “le cerveau de l’intellectuel” (brain-power). Sadly, the fourth poster in this series (“Preservez la Beauté de la femme”), is absent from this set. Rare!
