Rustic Side-Handled Teapot

Chinese side-handled tea pot (similar to the yokode kyusu of Japan). These mass-produced stoneware vessels were (and still are) used to heat water over a charcoal brazier for tea, and medicinal herbal infusions. Rustic and kind of cute at the same time, like the Pokémon Pikachu, with his ears askew.
