Heavy Shino Vase

Nicely-proportioned, surprisingly heavy, medium-size vase. Partially-dipped in a thick, Shino-type glaze. Shino glazes (志野釉, Shino uwagusuri), though quite varied, are often characterized by gaps in coverage, and inclusions of pigment. Marked with a mysterious glyph.
